Vyshyvanka & Hand-Embroidered Clothing

Shop the vyshyvanka, the traditional embroidered shirt, along with embroidered blouses and dresses for women, men and kids. Every piece comes from an independent maker. Some are stitched entirely by hand, others combine hand finishing with machine embroidery, so check each listing.

How to choose a vyshyvanka

Hand or machine. On the reverse, hand embroidery shows small variations between stitches; machine work is perfectly even, often with a stabilizer backing. If the listing doesn't say, ask the shop.

Fabric. Linen is the classic choice: breathable and softer with every wash. Cotton is lighter and smoother.

Size. Compare the measurements, listed in centimeters, with a shirt that fits you well. Linen has little stretch, so allow some ease across the chest.

Made to order and custom requests

Many vyshyvanky are sewn after you order. For a particular size, thread color or motif, send the shop a custom request. The shop decides whether to take it on and agrees the details with you, then publishes an item at the agreed price that only you can see. You buy it like any other order.

FAQ

A traditional embroidered shirt, worn for celebrations and every day. Motifs vary by region and maker.

How do I pay?

Prices are in USD. Payment methods depend on the shop: card via Western Bid (PayPal or Stripe), Payoneer, bank transfer or cash. You buy directly from the shop; Craftic is not a party to the sale.

Can I return a vyshyvanka?

Each shop sets its own cancellation and return policy. Where returns are accepted, the window is 14 to 90 days from delivery. Check it before you order, especially for made-to-measure pieces.
